This Valentine's Day was our ELEVENTH together!!
That is absolutely unbelievable to me!
Each one is better than the one before! :)
To start out the week on Sunday, we spent the day in Cnooga. We got to visit with Zach's mom for a while, shopped a little, and went to the movies. Then, on Monday night, I went to the movies with the girls to see The Vow. Oh, it was so good!
Then, on V-Day, Zach woke me up to give me my gift. He was more excited about it than I was- he kept asking me all last week if I didn't want to open it early. Let me just say that I was very excited right off the bat when I saw the little box it came in...
Inside was a beautiful bracelet! I was so surprised! My sweetie totally outdid himself!! We rarely spend on each other- a lot of Christmases, we just saved our money & used it for things we actually needed around the house or for something we both wanted. I am still telling him he did way too much this year. I'm going to have to pull out all the stops for his b-day, that's for sure!
That night, Zach & I went to our local country club & had a yummy dinner of prime rib. We had a great time!
I know every day should be Valentine's Day. I've always thought it was a silly holiday- whether you're single or with someone. I want Zach to always know, every day, that I love him & that I'm so proud of the man he is. I don't deserve him, but I'm thankful that God chose me to be his wife. He continually blessed our relationship while dating, and He still continues to bless our marriage, every day.
So, for a real Valentine's Day meaning, I found this little gem on a visit to the site here, Uncommon Designs Online.
For God so loVed the world

He gave us the ultimate Valentine's gift, and I hope we'll always remember that. Jewelry, flowers & cards will fade away & tarnish, but that gift won't.
